Service Fulfillment and Shipment Policy

This policy outlines how SDD Home Services fulfills the services booked by our customers. As a home service provider, this policy replaces traditional "shipping" rules.
1. Service Area
We currently offer services within [***YOUR GEOGRAPHIC SERVICE AREA - e.g., Bengaluru, Karnataka***]. Bookings placed outside this area may be subject to cancellation or additional travel charges.
2. Booking and Dispatch
- **Service Confirmation:** Your booking is confirmed instantly upon payment of the visiting/inspection charge. Confirmation is sent via email and/or WhatsApp.
- **Fulfillment:** Services are fulfilled by dispatching a qualified technician to the service address provided during the booking process.
- **Service Timeline:** All services are scheduled within the **2-hour time slot** selected during checkout. We strive to ensure timely arrival.
3. Rescheduling and Delays
- **Technician Delays:** In case of unforeseen delays (traffic, emergency), our technician will attempt to contact you via the phone number provided. We commit to completing the service on the scheduled day.
- **Customer Absence:** If the customer is unavailable at the scheduled time, the technician will wait for [***15 minutes***]. After this period, the appointment may be canceled, and the upfront visiting charge will be **forfeited**.
4. Pricing and Final Charges
- **Upfront Charge:** The amount paid online is either a full service fee or a non-refundable Visiting/Inspection Charge.
- **Final Payment:** The final cost for parts, materials, and extended labor (beyond the booked service) is communicated and agreed upon on-site, and full payment is due upon completion.
